Toji Suzuhara   The Fourth Child & Pilot of EVA 03 Toji's sister is hurt in the first sortie of EVA 01 and he bears a grudge against Shinji for that reason. But once he sees how brave Shinji is he decides to befriend the third child. Later Toji is revealed to be the Fourth Child and pilot of EVA 03. However an angel takes over his EVA and forces his EVA to fight EVA 01. Gendo activates the dummy plug which forces EVA 01 to destroy EVA 03, thereby crippling him. As the series closes the final fate of Toji is not known.
