Life Never Sounded So Good   The Other Evangelion Experience The songs to Neon Genesis Evangelion are central to it's profound impact. With one of the most soul stirring soundtracks in anime history, EVA has shown it has covered all the bases. In the TV series only two songs are vocal: "Cruel Angel's Thesis" (The Opening Song) and "Fly Me to The Moon" (The Closing Song). The latter was a Frank Sinatra song used in James Bond movies. Cruel Angel's Thesis is, in my opinion, one of the best anime songs of all time. Even though its in Japanese, the song stirs something deep inside of the listener and perfectly conveys the feelings of the EVA characters.
